I’ve never seen myself as much of a jewelry gal. It’s not that I don’t like jewelry, it’s just that the good stuff tends to be expensive so most of what I own comes cheap from second-hand shops or from Target (not that I’m complaining because Target is magic and they have Coke ICEEs so it’s basically my ideal shopping experience). I wear a lot of big fat rings, pendant necklaces, and hoop earring but I really don’t mix it up too much and tend to rotate through the same 5 or 6 pieces over and over again. That’s why I thought trying Rocksbox might be a fun change. It’s similar to Stitch Fix but it’s all jewelry and works as a monthly subscription. You can trade out pieces as you wear them with no obligation to buy. This means you can keep items on loan, then send them back when you’d like to try something new!
I got my first box this month and I thought I’d share with a video since talking is faster than typing and also since I’ve stopped biting my nails so my hands look less janky than usual (go me!).

I’ve really loved the items in my box and I’ve worn that necklace almost everyday this past week! Like Stitch Fix, Rocksbox asks you to fill out a style profile so that your stylist can match you with jewelry that fits your wardrobe and taste. I’m already itching to send these back so I can try something new but I might wait another week so I can get more wear out of them. Here’s the fun part– you can try Rocksbox for one month FREE.
Use this LINK and enter code whatdoyoudodearxoxo to get your first month for free.
Your Rocksbox stylist will send you three items that fit your profile. Send back all the items and a new box will be sent your way. You can trade your items out as many times as you like during the duration of your subscription and, if you fall in love with a piece, you can purchase it. The subscription will automatically cancel at the end of the month (unless you decide to extend it) so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to cancel!
Does this sound fun to anyone else? I’m kind of digging it. Actually, I’m totally digging it. I didn’t know I could be so excited about jewelry!
