Since it’s the first week of summer break, and I’m busy working on a guest post, and because I’m lazy, I thought I would keep things simple and just share some photos from our recent family photo session (I gave you a sneak peak here). Katelyn from Wonderfully Made Imaging met up with us on Mother’s Day for the shoot. And while some of these were shot at the local park, most were taken in our home and back yard. I wanted to keep things nice and cozy. I thought it would be extra special to have some images of us taken right here in our comfort zone.
Around this time last year I wrote about not wanting a trach in our family photos. As silly as it seems now, I really worried about images of our family. How would we come across? What would people think of us? Pity was my biggest fear. Seeing these photos changed my mind. I don’t see a trach in these pictures– I’m too distracted by all the loveliness and grace in our life lately. It’s a trach disappearing act– now ya see it, now ya don’t. Am I right?
